 Practical use of South Park Avatar 

     Today's lesson from Multimedia-Assisted Language Learning class, I learned what is CALL and CMC and its theory. Later, I use South Park Avatar as a real example of CALL. For example, we can use its function to create a unique character. Furthermore, you can adjust its face, skin, outfit, and even voice. With those, we can let students learn facial expression and so on.

  October 13  2020  Jigsaw reading on Line       Today's lesson  from  Multimedia-Assisted Language Learning class, our professor asked us to do j igsaw reading on Line with a partner. So, the story is divided into two parts, A and B. Each of us got 5 mintutes to read our part of the story. After that, we have to make a phone call through Line to give a summary of this story to each other. October 6 2020   Group Discussion on Google Hangouts      Today's lesson  from  Multimedia-Assisted Language Learning class, our professor asked us to create a online discussion group through  Google Hangouts. For the discussion, the topic was " what will be a future classroom like?". It's quite a thought-provoking topic. As a saying goes: "Three heads are better than one". We brainstormed together to look into a same thing with different aspects. What's more, two of four group members are from other departments, which I think it will make this discussion more diversified. Then, w e talked about the environment, facilities, teaching materials, and the role of the teacher in the classroom.                                                                                                                                                       Steven Chen
